About

Built for the things without a clean answer.

Most of the hardest moments in a life — losing a parent, leaving a marriage, failing in public, getting sober, coming out — aren't solved by advice. They're survived by company. LivedThrough is a place to find that company on demand, from someone who has actually been there.

Why this exists

Therapy is necessary and underfunded. Friends are necessary and busy. There's a third category — people who've come through the specific thing you're in — that has always existed but was hard to find on purpose. We're making that category routine.

What we are

A vetted, paid, structured marketplace for 1:1 peer support. Providers tell their own story in their own words, pick the lived-experience tags that fit, pass a short orientation, and submit ID. Seekers do a 60-second check-in so we can rank for fit instead of popularity.

What we're not

Not therapy. Not coaching. Not crisis intervention. Not a friends app. Not a place to find a partner or recruit for anything. We're narrow on purpose — the narrower the use case, the safer the room.

How we think about safety

Every provider is reviewed by a human. Every report is reviewed by a human. The orientation is built around scope and crisis handling. Sessions surface crisis lines when the conversation tips. None of this makes us a clinical service — and we keep saying so loudly.

Where we are

Early. Building thoughtfully. If you have lived experience that belongs here and stories you wish you'd had access to in the worst week of your life — we'd love to meet you on the provider side.
